The problem

You know this month-end.

Policy changes wait in a queue

Risk moves, the market moves, and the new payout policy sits behind ops and IT tickets while the month closes on the old one.

Dealers and agencies get paid late

Late or disputed payouts do not read as an ops problem to a dealer. They read as a reason to route the next file to whoever pays faster.

Every cycle ends in queries

The payout lands and the questions start. Nobody can answer them from the spreadsheet, because the spreadsheet is the problem.

None of this is a calculation problem. It is a change problem. Excel breaks where policy changes monthly, fragments by dealer, and runs at volume.
The platform

One engine, five layers.

PayPrompt enters at the payout, the highest-risk variable-pay workflow a lender runs. The same policy engine then powers the performance layer on top.

The payout engine
01
IT & systems

Connect

Every payout input in one place: CRM, LMS, APIs, data lakes, SFTP and Excel, with custom variables built without code.

02
Business

Design

Business teams write and ship payout policy in a no-code builder: dealer-level grids, penalties, clawbacks, capping and boosters. No IT queue.

03
Operations

Govern

Every payout approved on your delegation of authority: maker-checker chains, hold and unhold to invoice level, ERP push.

The performance layer
04
Business

Optimize

Simulate a proposed policy on real historical data before rollout: who earns more, who earns less, and what it costs, per payee.

05
Field sales

Communicate

Every payee sees target versus actual and earnings as they accrue, with nudges over WhatsApp, email and SMS, and contests with leaderboards.

What changes with PayPrompt

Cut the month-end scramble, and the queries that follow.

PayPrompt turns fragmented payout policy into one governed engine. Business teams change the rules, test them on real data, and pay on time, with the trail intact.

Change policy without code

Business teams model and ship new payout rules in days, not behind an IT queue.

Simulate before you roll out

Run a policy on real historical data and see who earns more, who earns less, and what it costs, per payee.

Pay on time, every cycle

Payout TAT down from up to T+25 days to T+4, with same-day agency invoices.

Answer every query from the record

Each line item keeps its inputs, policy version and approver, so a dispute gets an answer, not a reconstruction.

Approve on your own authority

Maker-checker chains match your delegation of authority, with holds at transaction and invoice level.

Move the field, not just pay it

The same engine shows live targets and standings, and runs nudges and contests off the payout math.

Security & compliance

An ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliant company.

Payout data is money data. Osian operates under both standards, and PayPrompt adds its own controls on top: maker-checker approvals, version-controlled policy, immutable calculation trails.

Built by Osian

The company behind the platform.

PayPrompt is built by Osian, a Mumbai engineering company that has shipped enterprise systems for eleven years: Tata Capital, Edelweiss, Sony, Unilever, DSP. Bootstrapped, profitable, and still run by the people who write the architecture.

FAQ

Questions we get asked.

What PayPrompt is, how it sits under Osian, and how it runs incentive and payout policy for lending and distribution teams.

What is PayPrompt?

PayPrompt is performance-linked payout infrastructure, built by Osian, a Mumbai enterprise software company founded in 2015. It runs performance payouts for agencies, dealers, DSAs, field teams, and partner networks, and is in production at Tata Capital across sales and collections payouts.

What is the relationship between Osian and PayPrompt?

Osian is the parent company and PayPrompt is its product. Osian is a Mumbai enterprise software company founded in 2015, bootstrapped and profitable, that has shipped systems for Tata Capital, Edelweiss, Sony, Unilever and DSP. PayPrompt is the payout platform Osian builds and runs.

Who is PayPrompt for?

PayPrompt is for anyone who runs performance-driven variable pay: field teams, agencies, dealers, DSAs, channel partners, direct-selling and collections teams, and employees on incentive plans. It fits where people and data volumes are high, payout structures are complex across industries and geographies, cycles run daily, weekly or ad hoc, and the priority is automation, auditability and performance.

How does PayPrompt automate incentive and payout calculation?

PayPrompt ingests disbursal, resolution, sales and hierarchy data from your LOS, LMS, CRM and HRMS, then runs your payout policy against it automatically. Custom variables, slabs, clawbacks and boosters are modeled once and applied every cycle, so a month-end that took spreadsheets and scripts runs on one engine.

Can I simulate a payout policy change before rolling it out?

Yes. PayPrompt runs a proposed policy against real historical data and shows the impact before rollout: who earns more, who earns less, and what the total payout costs, per payee. You roll out when the numbers support it, not when the cycle forces you.

What systems does PayPrompt connect to?

PayPrompt connects to the systems you already run: LOS, LMS, CRM and HRMS for source data, plus files like CSV, Excel and JSON, and databases when a direct read is cleaner. It pushes approved payouts into your ERP, and the ingestion layer handles a messy extract rather than treating it as a blocker.

How long does it take to deploy PayPrompt?

A working POC on your own policy and data typically runs in 5 to 10 days. A full go-live usually takes 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how many policies and source systems are in scope. You start with one policy, prove it, then expand.

Is PayPrompt secure and audit-ready?

PayPrompt is built by Osian, an ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliant company. Every payout moves through maker-checker approval, policy is version-controlled, and each calculation keeps its inputs, formula and approver. Records are structured for internal and regulatory review, exportable per payee, per cycle, per rule.
